From nearest the top of the page, the thumbnails are displayed in order of most to least recently photographed.
The newest additions to the website will have a yellow 'New' label that fades as the photos get older.
Note: when a photo was taken (photographed) and when it was added to the website are different concepts - so a photo may be old because it was taken long ago, but labeled 'New' because it was added recently.
Your preferences at the
'My Account' page control how search results are displayed: as a continuous stream or grouped under headings; the maximum number of thumbnails on each search results page; and whether search results are paginated.
